Student & Staff Rights Under Title IX
The Bellevue Union School District Board of Education is committed to equal opportunity for all individuals in district programs and activities. Know Your Rights
What is Title IX? Title IX is a federal law that protects against sex discrimination at school. This includes protection against discrimination and/or harassment on the basis of gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy and related conditions, and sex stereotypes.
What does this mean? The Bellevue Union School District expressly prohibits sex discrimination. If you believe you’ve been subjected to discrimination or harassment on the basis of your sex, notify an adult employee that you trust, or one of our Title IX immediately.
